Fishin’ Feedback

The fishin’ on Salamonie Lake was really slow today.  After a harrowing drive through freezing rain and sleety conditions, a long walk and two and a half hours without even a single bite, the sun popped out and shone.  About 10:30 I got the first bite. Missed.  At 10:38 I set the hook on a nice, 12″ crappie.  Within the next hour an a half I landed a 10″ and then an 8 ” crappie.  And then I was done.

So it all worked out

The fish have been filleted and are soaking in the refrigerator.  The skins and heads with skeletons are outside the garage door, ready to be fed to the back garden.  Perhaps the fish will bite better next time.  There is always next time.
