Yesterday, I couldn’t even spell TOOWOOMBA
Today, I am praying for TOOWOOMBA
Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia received over 6″ of rain in one hour. They had endured weeks of drought prior to the rains coming in near Biblical Proportions. After reading about the plight of this TEOTWAWKI event on survivalblog, and one persons appeal for prayer on their behalf, I decided to share that story with my dear readers.
Toowoomba is a town that sits atop the Great Dividing Range, about 3,000 feet above sea level. As you look at this video and consider your own elevation above sea level, it starts to make one wonder if they have prepared themselves properly. As a reference, Bippus is at an elevation of 850′.
Of course, Youtube shows you related videos, and they have many more. What these videos demonstrate is that we ought to expect the unexpected, and prepare ourselves for it.
And when devastation hits, we should pray for those affected. It may one day hit us.
