Tomato seeds FREE for the asking

Well, they are free if you send a self-addressed stamped envelope, so really it costs you 3 U.S. Postage stamps here in the untied state.  All you do is visit:

The Wintersown Organization and follow the directions there. I did it, and they sent me ten (YES, 10) different types of tomato seeds. Just to be clear, you do understand that you start tomato seeds 6 to 8 weeks before the average last day of frost in your specific location, right? Well, under traditional planting conditions.  But wintersown.org has another plan.

Sowing seeds outdoors in winter in mini-greenhouses

Now, dear reader I spent more than 3 hours investigating the wintersown website, and found it utterly fascinating.  It is my intention to use gallon milk jugs, plant tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, lettuce (heck- all the cool weather vegetables, and maybe some herbs) and document the process here at ViewfromBippus.  And if things work out, I intend to share some seeds with the good folks that SHARED THEIR TOMATO SEED WITH ME.

So head on over and check out their site WINTERSOWN.ORG, and their concepts.  I think you will find it quite interesting.  And be sure to give us your feedback, was it fun?, what did you learn?  what did you like and what did you not like? and (everybody’s got one)…WHAT’S  your opinion,   LEAVE A COMMENT here at ViewfromBippus.
