Hog Butchering the Mennonite Way

Found this photo-essay of hog butchering and found it tremendously interesting, and I think you will too.  It is written by a gal named Gina, who is a Mennonite Mom, and is blessed to be part of a large and strong family.  BTW, there are not gory photos of killing hogs.  Gina fives us a peek at her family utilizing all parts of the hog, “except the squeal”.

      Gina, I just loved that article. I was curious where the large cook pots come from, as I have never seen them available anywhere.
