My favorite Tomato Season Sandwich

When the tomatoes are coming, this is one great sandwich

Folks, the tomatoes are coming here in the Greater Bippus Area (GBA) and that means , well, lots of fresh tomatoes.  Now, IMHO there is nothing like the taste of a freshly picked tomato.  And when you couple THAT with cream cheese and toasted bread, you have got yourself one culinary delight.

Fixin's for Milton's favorite tomato season sandwich

Here’s what you start with:

A freshly picked tomato, some cream cheese and bread for toasting.  Yeah, that’s it!  Ya toast up yer bread, smear some cream cheese on it, spread out your tomato slices, salt and pepper to taste, and LOOK OUT taste buds.

Lather, rinse and repeat.  They ARE that good.

Half way home!

In the photo above, I’ve got the cream cheese on the toast, and my taste buds are totally freakin out!  Hurry up with the tomato slices, dude!!

THIRD BASE, come on!

I can honestly tell you, dear reader, that this sammich did not last.  It was gone in under 30 seconds,  Yeah, they are that good.  Now go on out and get you some fresh tomatoes and try it out.
