Fresh from the Farm
July 8, 2010
Well, this is a neat idea! Last week we were talking about our friends over at W&W Meat Locker, where they deliver custom cuts of your favorite meat. Today I ran across a link to
Indiana Fresh from the Farm Beef which is a site where you can search, county by county for a local beef producer. Hey, check it out! Maybe you can even head on out, and check out the critters on the farm, see how they are raised, and watch how they get treated, before you buy. This might be just the ticket for folks interested in buying a side or a quarter of beef from a local farmer that you can get to know and trust.
Now I found that link due to the good work of my internet friend Victoria, who owns a fantastic website called
which you should go visit right after you finish reading everything that I have ever written, and let Victoria know that I sent you. Her website shows you various Indiana food producers, and how to get their yummy products, fresh and local.
So there you go. Don’t forget your raincoat or umbrella if you are heading out in the GBA today, as intermittent thunderstorms are likely.
