The Big Chill

April 16, 2010

Well, Dear Reader, yesterday was a wonderfully warm day in Bippus. HOWEVER, the weatherman is predicting overnight temperatures tonight (and tomorrow night) that will be in thirties. YOWZA! So Uncle Milton is concerned about those seedlings that he has transplanted into the garden. Yesterday I put a bunch of celery starts, and some parsley starts from the seed tray into a raised bed. And the alarm clock of fitful dreams woke me up about 4:45 a.m. this morning warning- – -“You better cover those tender little plants this evening, or they might get too cold”

So I have a plan. But I do not have any pictures (yet). I will work my plan, and show you, Dear Reader, some pictures of how I protect my tender little seedlings from the cold later today.
