This ornamental pear tree used to be the most wonderfully shaped, symmetrical and beautiful tree in the neighborhood.

So this ugly mess has been cleaned up, but our pretty tree, well, it will never be the same again.

The “bright” side of this natural tree trimming is that the garden area will receive a whole lot more morning sunshine.  Sometimes we have to look hard to find the bright side!
